Andrea Jeremiah

Andrea Maria Jeremiah works as an Indian playback singer, actress and musician. Her work is primarily focused on Tamil or Malayalam-language films. Her acting debut was in the Tamil film Pachaikili Muthucharam in addition to her Malayalam d but with Annayum Rasoolum. Andrea Jeremiah has an Anglo-Indian background. Her parents were a Madras High Court attorney. Andrea is the youngest cousin of an assistant researcher in Leuven, Belgium. Jeremiah hails originally from Chennai. She was a student at National Public School, and later graduated from Women's Christian College. Andrea started studying classical piano at the age of eight. She was a big fan of geeks and wanted to be a psychiatrist. At age 10 she was a part of a group of the Jackson Five called Young Stars which formed the base of her early performing and music composition career. She appeared as a performer at her college in various performances organized through The Madras Players or EVAM. Andrea was also the Student Senate President at Women's Christian College. Andrea began the acting profession as a young performer acting in Girish Karnad Nagamandala. The role she played in 2006's new leo Coffee advertisement was in the role of Shiva. She also acted as a character in Podhigai's series. She has performed in India. She had a short part in the final scene in Kanda Naal Mudhal (2005). Gautham Menon asked Andrea play the lead role after she sang in Vettaiyaadu's Vilaiyaadu. Andrea portrays Kalyani who is married and mother whose man has an affair. Andrea was chosen for the part after Simran and Tabu were two actors who were approached by the producers. The film was released in the early part of 2010. It was announced in the beginning of 2011. be a minor character in Venkat Prabhu's film with a number of stars Mankatha which was released in August 2011. Annayum Rasoolum was Rajeev's romantic film that was released in 2013.
